Can I refreeze my cake?

How long can I keep my cake in the fridge or freezer?
You can keep most our cakes in the fridge for up to 4 days after they have been defrosted, however always check the best before label on the side of the box. For all information regarding the storage of your cake, please see our guide to Freezing And Defrosting

Our cakes are made in London, England.
What is the best way to cut a cheesecake?
The best way to cut a whole cake is when it is partially thawed. Cut the desired portion size with a knife dipped in hot water. However you can have your 8" cakes proportioned.
What is the best to serve a cheesecake?
We recommended serving our cakes chilled (but no frozen)

How secure is my information when I'm ordering?
The English Cheesecake Company does not store your credit card details. We use Sage Pay as the payment gateway for website orders. Click here for more information about Sage Pay

What food allergens are in your products?
Every product has its allergens stated clearly in a table underneath the image of the cake in our online store. For a comprehensive list of allergens, please see our allergens page
Do you use fresh ingredients?
Yes, we use fresh dairy produce in all of our cakes.
Are your cakes suitable for vegetarians?
Many of our cakes are suitable for vegetarians and you will be able to see clearly in our online store if the cake you have chosen is suitable. Please see our allergens page for a comprehensive list of which cakes are suitable for vegetarians.
Are your cakes free of GMO?
Yes, they are.
Do your cakes contain nuts?
Although many of our products may not contain nuts, they are not produced in a nut free factory so may contain traces.
What type of base does the English Cheesecake Company use?
All of our cheesecakes have either a digestive or chocolate cookie base.
How can I get a brochure?
Brochures are just only available to foodservice costumers. Please contact us.
Can I change or cancel my order once it's been placed?
You are able to change or cancel your order within 3 hours from placement of order, or within 30 minutes if you have opted for a next day delivery. You must make these changes by telephone as you are unable to cancel or amend your order online.
Can I deliver to different addresses?
You can deliver to only one designated address per order.
What does delivery cost?

Which forms of payment do you accept?
We accept the following forms of payment: Solo, Switch, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Marstercard and Amex

We deliver anywhere mainland UK
Can I choose my delivery date?
Yes, you can choose which date you would like to have your cake delivered. Don't forget that we don't deliver on Sundays or Mondays!

How will my product arrive?
Our cakes are delivered frozen packed in a heavy duty polystyrene container with individually wrapped dry ice. and arrive via express courier service.

Please note that The English Cheesecake company does not offer cash or food donations nor does it sponsor events.
Do you consider student inquiries?
Due to volume of requests that have receive, we are sorry the we are unable to give interviews for school projects or answer specific questions which are not addressed on our website.
